The Wallingford Community Council (WCC) holds its Annual Meeting and Officer Elections virtually on Wednesday May 26, 2021 at 7PM. Our Guest Speaker is Representative Frank Chopp.

Voting

This year we are extending the eligibility to vote to all members who have joined since October 2019 and to those who join by today Tuesday May 11, 2021. This is the last day to join the WCC as a member to be able to vote at the Annual Meeting. Find out your membership status by logging into the My Account page. Visit the Membership page to become a member.

Nominations

As a member, you may also run for one of the elected officer positions. There are seven positions: President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, and three Board Members-At-Large. Please see our Bylaws, Article V – Officers,for descriptions of each position. If you would like to be nominated, please email us.

In advance of the Annual Meeting, we will send out a notice by email 10 days before with a report of all those who have been nominated. In addition, at the virtual Annual Meeting, any member may nominate any consenting member for any office.

Community

It has been a long year with ups and downs and hopefully some silver linings for each of you. As we come together again in May, we ask you to bring your questions and ideas. We look forward to your participation at the Annual Meeting!
